We just finished up a gator hunt with Townsend and Sons and it was a fantastic experience. Top notch operation! Great equipment and facility. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. These are great people here! We decided last minute when we were visiting florida to try and get in for a gator hunt somewhere and I had looked in the past at Townsend and Sons and knew that was where I wanted to go. They were able to get us in on little notice. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to do a florida gator hunt. We will for sure be back in the future for more hunting! First class operation and guides. I took my 14 and 19 year old sons over fall break and it was a fantastic time. Staff treated us like we were old friends. Not only did my youngest son get an awesome gator with a bang stick, he also got to drive the tractor. Daniel picked us up at the local airport and treated us like VIP's the whole time. Very customer oriented. The boys worked hard for their gators but we laughed and had fun the whole time. I have been on many guided hunts and am writing this while hunting for white tails in Kansas. I prefer working with guide services that have been around for many years and are local. They tend to be better organized and offer better opportunities because they are important to the local economy. This was absolutely true of Townsend and Son. We will be back for a 13 footer. Great job guys.

As you see I'm the one in the picture with a awesome gator. They did a outstanding job and you could not find a better place to go to go in my opinion. The frog gigging, hog hunt, and the outstanding gator hunt were just awesome. They will go above and beyond for you to get your gator and for you to take it the way you want. Hey!, down the road my son wants to do this and I will go to no other place for him to get his gator. Thank You Townsend and sons Everglades Outfitters. A group of us just got back from the Townsend & Sons ranch. We spent a week with these guys hog hunting and it was a trip we won't ever forget. From the moment we entered the ranch when Daniel & Greg met us, we knew were going to have a great time and we did. The guys (Sean, Daniel, & Greg) were excellent guides & hosts. They worked with us to determine how we wanted to hunt, what we were looking for, and allowed us to decide once they made suggestions. There wasn't any pressure to do what they wanted or hunt in any specific area or manner. Their response to all of our requests was "Not a problem, we'll get it done" and they did. We were on the hogs every day and we were able to blind, tree stand and spot & talk hunt our hogs. There were no hidden costs--the prices on their site are exactly what you pay. The hospitality was incredible as it felt like a "home away from home" for us. We drove all the way from PA and it was worth every mile. If you are looking for an trip unforgettable trip with friends or family--simply put you must check these guys out. Sean, Greg, Daniel, Casey, Kelvin and Ms. Belinda--thank you all again for an unforgettable trip!!

Townsend and Sons exceeded my expectations by a long shot on my September 24, 2015 visit. We spent the entire day with these guys and had a very successful hunt and made some great friends. We prepared for a hunt but this was so much more. From the moment we drove through the gates and were greeted by Shawn, Greg and Daniel (along with a few more great people) we were treated extremely well from the hog & gator hunt to the late night frog giggin' with Kelvin. I will recommend this to anybody and everybody looking for an "out of the box" vacation to meet some good ol' boys and see what the Florida landscape has to offer. Being from ND this was a trip I will never forget. Thanks guys for helping check some things off my bucket list.
