Offering in-house meat processing, we take great pride in keeping our on-site facility spic and span. Skinning & processing for a gator can be a lengthy process, but we can guarantee that our experienced team of skinners will have your meat packaged up and ready to go in a timely fashion.
Following your gator hunt with us your guide will bring you to our “slaughterhouse“ and go over the list of options regarding taxidermy work. Your gator will be tagged accordingly noting what you would like to have done with your gator. Gators have a ton of nerves so it will have to sit in our walk-in cooler overnight and be skinned out the following morning. Once your gator is skinned and prepped for whatever type of taxidermy work you choose to have done, your meat is cubed and pack into vacuum sealed bags along with ribs and bulk meat being packaged as well. “Cubed meat” is like back strap meat from a deer as far as meat from a gator goes, it’s the highly favored meat.
